Race Deposit You may choose to reserve a spot for your team in the race by paying a $1,000 deposit (via check in the mail or via this online deposit link -- there's an amount field at the bottom of the page where you can put in any $ figure); after we receive your deposit we will contact you about your team details. This holds a spot for your team through February 2012, 4-person or whatever configuration, and we'll get you added to the team roster as a "deposit paid" team. The full amount you owe, after the deposit, depends on when you settle the rest of your registration payment. If you settle your registration payment after "early" registration closes, after Feb 1st 2012, then you would owe the rest of your race fee using the full price. Bottom line: if you want to just ensure you've got a space in the race, send $1,000 and you've got some time to sort out the rest. Refund Policy The Untamed New England refund policy is that you get 100% back minus $100 for any deposit or full entry fee until February 2012. Your team composition can be changed, or entry transferred entirely, at no charge until May 2012 so no need to worry if you want to sort out exact teammates etc closer to the race. After February 2012, the following refund schedule applies: March 2012 - 75% eligible for refund April 2012 - 50% eligible for refund May or later - no refund available Privacy Policy We keep your personal information private -- we never actually see your credit card information as it's handled by a secure third party payment processor (www.RaceIt.com). We don't sell our participant names, addresses, emails, etc. We do email a periodic newsletter with the latest going on with Untamed Adventure Racing, but you can opt out of that at any time via a link at the bottom of each email.
