Goals for the race
Scott's mom told him he could not return home to SK unless we placed in the top 5. Scott will miss seeing his family every Xmas [sad trombone].
We aim to race smart and finish the full course...hopefully still wearing bottoms for those delightful finish line pictures. Dignity!
Previous Untamed New England Highlights
We've always wanted to do this race, but the timing was never right (injuries, babies...). Super stoked to finally be a part of it!
Team Inspiration
Our teammate, Mat, is our inspiration. Unfortunately, Mat could not join us for this race, so we'll probably spend our time wandering aimlessly, scowling at each other, and complaining about the heat.
In all seriousness though, this quote from George Bernard Shaw sums up our attitude: "We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing."
