Barbara may be a first timer to UNE, but she has years of adventure racing experience making her an integral component to any team.  She’s determined to be a top performer at UNE and finds her inspiration through the strengths of her teammates. Her leadership and organizational abilities will lead team Midwest Mayhem.

UNE will be Brenda’s fourth expedition race.  Feeling recharged and ready for another expedition race, her experience and insight into multiple days of racing will provide steady guidance for her teammates.  She can’t wait to just ‘get out there’ and find those ‘elusive moose’.

The love of a good challenge and the draw of unfamiliar territory has lured Eric to UNE.  He is looking forward to the navigational challenges of the northeast part of the country.  This will be Eric’s eighth expedition race. His racing experience combined with his athleticism will provide invaluable strength and focus in all team disciplines.

Inspired by the Barkley Marathons, Richard is looking forward to his first multiple day race at UNE.  Richard draws on 20 years of mountain biking and running experience to carry the weight of the team. He’s looking forward to being ‘the mule’ and learning from the experience of his teammates to complement his Barkley training.
