    In the history of American adventure racing, names like "WEDALI" (We Eat Dirt And Like It) and "GearJunkie" and "Alpine Shop" have been podium regulars at national championships and other big races. Their strong navigation skills, pace, and general craftiness when the going gets tough are going to suit them well in New England. We can't honestly consider a team with this resume to be dark horses, even though they're new to Untamed New England -- I guess this makes them serious contenders for the very top of the podium!

Team Bio Notes

Rib Mountain - WEDALI is a mash-up of top adventure racing teams from the Midwest. Tim Buchholz and Anna Nummelin, both of Wausau, Wisconsin, have been the core of Rib Mountain Racing since its founding in 2013. Prior to racing for Rib Mountain, Tim and Anna gained loads of experience in the Florida swamplands racing for Green Paw Adventure Sports and Shake-A-Leg Miami. Scott "Erl" Erlandson and Emily Korsch, both of St. Louis, Missouri, have raced for GearJunkie/WEDALI since 2004 and Alpine Shop since 2013. Emily and Erl are originally from the great state of Minnesota and are excited to team up with the cheeseheads!
